Inclusive education

 Sept 20 Monday 

Today we started our seminar sessions on Joju sir's class. English optional started their presentation. Sir insisted us to conclude the seminar within 3 minutes and suggested that it would be better to turn on the video.

On the next period Maya ma'am discussed more about inclusive education.

Educational implications of inclusive education include education for all, skill development, protection of right , development of social consciousness, to prepare for new challenges, development of brotherhood, to improve quality of education , social adaptation and development of values.

The educational provisions that are provided to differently abled students include 1) use appropriate teaching methodologies and skills for adopting and transacting the curriculum.                2)  teachers should promote children to join in activities where they can gather children of same age with diverse abilities 3).proper socialization required 4). incorporate multisensory approach to benefit all children 5). make use of audio visual Aids to transact curriculum 6).teachers should be aware of the use peer mentoring system and student groups to support different differently abled students  7).provisions to be developed for the speech and language development for children with disabilities.

The last period was optional and we continued our seminar presentation.
