Live in the present

 September 13 Monday

First period was engaged by Joju sir. Today we studied affective domain in detail.

Affective domain includes those objectives which are concerned with the changes in interest attitude values appreciation and adjustment.

The various aspects are

1. Receiving

It includes awareness , willingness to receive and controlled or selected attention.

for the inculcation of certain interest, attitudes values or ideas it is essential that the learner is prepared to receive or attend the desired ideas events or objects.  It points towards three types of sequential activities, firstly the learner is sensitized or made aware of the existence of certain stimuli then the desired intention or willingness for receiving or attending the stimuli is created in the learner. lastly efforts are made for the control of the attention of the learner. we need a control or selective attention distinguish whether it is important and urgent.

2. Responding

It include acquiescence, willingness to respond satisfaction in response. Once a learner receives or attends to a particular Idea event or thing he must be made to respond to it as actively as possible.

3. Valuing

Load acceptance of a value preference for a value in commitment here the learner is expected to in by a definite value pattern we accept some ideas for events in practice the object is belonging to this category are usually concerned with the development of typical value patterns and attitudes at this point sir mention about Tolstoy, Brahmanayakam sir and doctor APJ Abdul Kalam .

On the next period Maya ma'am gave us an assignment to do.
