The first period was handled by Maya Ma'am and today we studied about population education.

Population education

An exploration of knowledge and attitudes about population family and gender.

 it includes population awareness, family living, reproduction, education and basic values.

 objectives of population education are to provide knowledge and understanding of the prevailing population situation, to provide knowledge about the present population trends and issues, to activate the learner with a knowledge of the National population policy to help the learner to understand how rapid urbanization affects their lives.

Evolution of education in Kerala.

It is mainly divided into five stages.

1). Education during Sangam age. The major points related to it are Christian period to 7th century, state is divided into five areas ,Tamil as main language universal education but not same for all, art ,literature, fine arts , martial arts, Ayurveda and traditional knowledge where prevailed.

2). Education during post Sangam age Shankaracharya at this time, importance to development of education , Sanskrit with Pragati where  introduced , whattezhuthu is the first script adwaitha philosophy , Buddhist education centres , importance to Tamil literature and Tamil language, Jainism.

3). Education during kulasekhara period

4). Education under  provincial rule

5). Education in post independent period.

On the next period Joju sir handled the session. Malayalam optional started their seminars on grading system.
