Seminar on Science library

 September 24  Friday 

The first session was handled by Giby ma'am. We discussed about motivation in brief.

The next period was optional and I was supposed to take my seminar on science library need and significance. I prepared a presentation for my seminar. The major points included where

Significance of science library- science library of a school is its mirror and must be well-equipped. science libraries should be the primary requisite of every school. it is the place where students sit and do the independent work .this is the place where the students go in for further study in the subject. it serves as an instrument for developing skills and attitudes among the people . A well set up library is the replica of a good institution.

Importance of science library include develop scientific attitude among students, develop the teachers to extent their scientific knowledge, help in putting progressive method of teaching science, resulted self study and self education , develop the students to be anxious to know more and more about science, make the students know everything about the surrounding world.

Organisation of science library basic requirements classification of books use of science library for students and teachers are also  included.

Last period was by Maya ma'am. Today we discussed about zero population growth major cause of population explosion and consequences of overpopulation. Also said about demography e and significance of population education and the reasons behind population explosion then consequences.
