Monday sweet as moonlight

 10/01/2022 Monday 

Today I officially got my first class. It was 8F. It was a malayalam medium class. They welcomed with love and surprise. At that time I was able to see sixteen reflections of my school days on their faces. First of all I divided them into four groups and asked them to find a name for their group. The name cards I got from them were ROSE🌹, SUNFLOWER 🌻, SKY ☁️ AND RED❤️. I given them four cards with their group name and promised that teacher will paste stars on it according to group and individual performance.

The second period on 8F was also for me. I continued the class. Today I started the chapter water on the class. I taught them the concepts of importance of water with the help of some videos and activity cards. They were very eager to study but the lack of previous knowledge hindered the teaching learning process at some points. Altogether it was a great experience.

Knowledge is Power was the thought I shared with students on the very day.  They curiosly heard my words and responded enthusiastically. But due to their lack of knowledge the pace of learning was so slow and also the students were having very short attention span
