Sixth week at Kanyakulangara school

 February 7 Monday

On today's class for students of 9C I discussed about transverse and longitudinal waves

. class was from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Google meet. students where a little bit confused about transverse and longitudinal waves so I helped  them to resolve their confusion with the help of examples. I demonstrated transverse and longitudinal waves with the help of some ribbon and sticks and  by using phET interactive simulation.  I explained  characteristics of those waves and helped them to solve problems associated with itself. students performed those simulations on their own and shared it with me. that made me more responsible regarding my duties tomorrow I scheduled to teach multiple reflection of sound for that I prepared some demonstration videos and simulation.

February 8 Tuesday

Today I was having an online session for 9C students on WhatsApp platform. most of the students complained that they are unable to join on meet due to their own reasons. the class was from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today we discussed about multiple reflection of sound. to make the idea clear I shown them a live demonstration of reflection with the help of a laser and simulation of reflection of sound. in addition real life instances to make the back to end with the ideas. Also I used the interactive question answer session for the class. tomorrow I have to conduct the unit test for fibers in plastic for students of class 8.I prepared a question paper for the exam.

February 9 Wednesday

Today 9th of February Wednesday I conducted a unit test for class 8 on the chapter fibres and plastic. I provided them the question paper on 7:00 p.m. and provided 45 minutes for completing the exam after receiving the answer sheet I explain all the questions in the group in detail in addition I clarified out their queries. I organised Google meet for 45 minutes for clarify the doubts of  students while writing the exam. in total I got 58 answer sheets.  tomorrow I am having a class for 9C on the topic ultrasound , for that I have to prepare some videos images and simulations.

February 10 Thursday

On today's class I interacted with students of 9C on physics' last chapter wavemotion. the topic was ultrasonic sound characteristics and uses. we collaborated on Google meet for the class I showed students images and videos regarding the daily life  applications of ultrasonic sounds. to clarify all their doubts I showed some simulations of how ultrasonic waves detected breaks in metal breaks. today I started to evaluate the answer sheet of the exam conducted on the chapter fibres and plastic for standard 8. tomorrow I have to conduct my health education class. today I shared my lesson template and details of class to make the observation of class to happen.

February 11 Friday

Today is the day of my health education class. the class was on the topic stress reduction ways to achieve it. the class was scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Google meet for students of 8. George sir  entered the classes by 7 15; p.m. and left the class around 7:40 p.m. there where about 49 participants in the class. for reducing stress I discussed about stress relieving exercise and visual imagery techniques comments obtained from students after the classes really amazing tomorrow I am conducting directors of 8 on the topic components of water I prepare 10 fill in the blanks questions for that.

February 12 Saturday

Today conducted the diagnostic test for students of class 8 on components of water acid happened be to the most difficult sub unit of the chapter water for the students there with 10 fill in the blanks questions there were no time limit for the exam but Moses student me the answer within half an hour after that I share the answer key on the WhatsApp group and clarify they doubts I started evaluate in the answers and find out that there is a need for remedial teaching so I schedule the it on 18th February Friday or last day of practice the next ask for me is to correct all the answer papers and to share their marks along with preparing score sheet
