Today I had a class for 9th standard on the topic ionic bonding. the topic was a little bit confusing for the students since in ionic bonding we have to explain how compounds are formed by losing or gaining of electrons. In addition we have to explain them the formation of ions name I used to send simulation using periodic table to explain how the bonds are formed in ionic compound and also explained it using some charts.

I also created a simulation using phET  to transact the idea of ionic bonding. the class was smooth. the uses simulation in the beginning helped in the proper functioning of the class and students where found  really active and also I got a substitution for 8th standard on 7 period. on 7th period I taught velocity in the class 8 and I prepared presentation and  activity cards. then on last period I got it substitution on 6th standard.
